If there’s one item you buy for your wardrobe this Fall, let it be a statement piece. This is definitely a big trend right now at the moment. These are usually clothing pieces that are bold. The item speaks for itself and is the center of attention when it comes to any item. My favorite statement pieces that I go for are jackets because they are transitional pieces from fall to winter. I mean you can never have to many jackets.
Statement pieces stand out amongst others, they can be bold colors, have embroidery, embellishments, sequins, and velvet. You can find any clothing piece whether it’s a jacket, purse, or shoes to fit your style your options are endless. Now lets focus on styling these items because it can be a little tricky for some. For me styling bold pieces are easy because I focus all of the attention on the clothing piece. I keep the rest of the outfit plain because it helps balance out the whole outfit. You don’t want to have more than one bold clothing piece in one outfit because than it could tend to clash, and we don’t want that.
I came across this floral embroidered black leather jacket and fell in love. The detail in the flowers and the silver rivets across the front of the jacket gave it a feminine but edgy vibe. I love finding affordable pieces that look very high end but at a fraction of the price. I couldn’t wait to style this jacket it’s definitely one of my favorites at the moment.
Styling this outfit was easy because I wanted my leather jacket to be my focus point. I based all of the other pieces off of the jacket. It was a chilly day so I wore a white high neck long sleeve top under it to add a bit of extra warmth. I paired it with my favorite jeans from Boohoo. I’m really picky with jeans because a lot of the times they fit my legs but not my waist, these fit like a glove. Lastly, I wore my black booties from Zara they are so comfortable and easy to walk in. I topped the whole look off with a red lip for a pop of color.
